Ava Canfield (12) utilizes her skills in math and science, in the Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy, where she finds herself prevailing in the hands-on-aspect of machinerary. Outside of school, Ava thrives during dance performance having done ballet for 13 years. “I really like the costumes being backstage, and like being in the dressing room with all my friends is always really special,” Ava said. “ … seeing how all your hard work paid off is always really great.”
