Nam-Anh Lê (10) has a passion for storytelling, which she explores through writing, media, and playing music. As a “feelings and passion-oriented person,” she often finds herself getting lost in the characters and worlds she encounters. For Nam-Anh, stories are both an escape and a way to better understand herself and others. “I really like playing around with characters and exploring them and seeing myself in them,” Nam-Anh said. “I want to be able to see more people like myself and learn about people who aren’t like me, too.” She believes thoughtful representation in media helps people feel seen and connected. When she’s not writing or diving into a new film or book, Nam-Anh can often be found playing an instrument from the violin family.
