Aspen Newhouse (12) collects and reads various Star Trek novels. Her interest goes beyond books, however, as she has watched Deep Space Nine, The Next Generation, the original series, and more. Despite caring deeply about many characters, Aspen’s favorite across the Star Trek universe is Spock. “I love Kirk, I really do, but he doesn’t [have] that inner turmoil,” Aspen said.
