Aspen Newhouse (12) has a passion for law and the legal system as a whole. “I like the fact that it’s both a tool to be used and something to be shaped in itself,” Aspen said. “You can both use the law as a basis for protecting yourself or for holding someone accountable.” She has been interested in becoming a lawyer since she was eight years old and hopes to study at Columbia Law someday.
