Following in her mother’s footsteps, sophomore Hailey Rance started doing cheer this year. She grew up doing gymnastics, and with some motivation from her mom and her friends, she finally decided to try out for cheer. She joined the team in May of 2022. According to Hailey, the most challenging part of cheer has been stunting. She didn’t like stunting at all for a period of time, but after a change in coach she was able to develop the skill.

“I was able to learn all the difficult skills for something and I loved it,” Hailey said.
