Ellie Canfield, Sports Editor
Ellie Canfield (10) has been a part of the Charger Account since she entered Dos Pueblos High School her freshman year, and she became the sports editor in her sophomore year. She was encouraged to join the class because of her sister, who was in journalism for all four years of high school. Within the Charger Account, she enjoys the collaboration and the opportunity to write on impactful and unique topics. “Since starting in my freshman year, journalism has really grown into something I like doing,” Ellie said. “Being in a team … writing articles … it’s a really good way to put my voice into something.” In her free time, Ellie likes reading and watercolor painting and hopes that DPHS will soon start a watercolor-focused class.
