One year ago, on May 18, the Dos Pueblos High School community experienced the tragic loss of three Chargers: Jake Curtis, Michael Ochsner, and Alexander Wood. As we reflect on this anniversary, we recognize that their loss continues to be deeply felt across campus and throughout the broader community. DPNews created this memorial video in honor of their lives and the lasting impact they had on those around them.

Mika Glasgow (11) has been a writer for the Charger Account since her freshman year. Her passion for journalism grew when she found out that her “voice could reach larger audiences than before.” Mika said that she loves the intricate details of grammar and AP style, as well as the non-subjective structure of humanities. “It’s been an extension of my voice,” Mika said. “That’s been nice, being able to just project what I’m saying louder.” Outside of school, Mika enjoys horseback riding with her horse, Linus.
