Morocco, first ever African team to make semifinals in the World Cup
Morocco has made history in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. For the first time in futbòl or soccer history, an African team has advanced to the semi-finals of the World Cup. At the beginning of the 2022 World Cup it was widely predicted that they would finish last in their group stage. Morocco not only finished first in their group stage but also beat Spain in penalties in the Round of 16 and beat Portugal 1-0 in the quarterfinals. The final question is: Can Morocco finish on the podium?
