Junior Joaquin Guadalupe Santamaria has a very outgoing personality and loves punk and metal. He plays the drums and is in a band called ‘Step Up.’ He is the Features editor for journalism at Dos Pueblos. He’s been playing music for eight years.  “Something about music always interests me. I always really liked just listening to music. I remember in 4th grade, when they allowed students to do band, my mom wanted me to join. So I did. So I played the saxophone, I kinda hated it and I wanted to play drums so I switched to drums and I have been playing drums ever since.” His passion for music helped him become a musician.
