Ethan Ding (11) plays basketball for the Dos Pueblos High School frosh team and hopes to move up to junior varsity this year. He first picked up the sport after quarantine ended in 2020 and has been playing ever since. For Ethan, basketball has been more than just a sport, but also a way to grow both on and off the court. “[Basketball] taught me how to be competitive,” Ethan said. “It also taught me to be an outgoing person, because you really have to make relationships with your teammates, build friendships and continue them on and off the court.”
