Dos Pueblos Mock Trial Team A won the County Competition this past weekend which marks the third year in a row that DP has taken home first place. The team will be traveling to Los Angeles on March 22 to compete for the state title. Last year the team won second place in state and this year they are looking to take home the State Championship win.
Jason Wang (12) was one of eight students on the team to receive an award. “It gives me a really nice sense of satisfaction of being recognized as someone who’s put a lot of effort into this role,” Wang said. “Along with the plenty of other support that I’ve received from the people around me and the experiences that I’ve made in mock along the way.”
Milena Rodriguez (10) says that she will be putting in more effort in the coming
weeks to prepare for the state competition.
“I’m working with coaches and collaborating with everyone to get the best performances and get the best out of every every aspect of mock trial,” Rodriguez said.
