The long-time singer Carly Rae Jepsen is coming to Santa Barbara and performing at the Arlington Theater on October 20, 2022 for her The So Nice Tour.

Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian multi-Grammy nominee, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actress who studied musical theater at the Canadian College of Performing Arts and The Royal Conservatory of Music. Initially being discovered for her appearance on Canadian Idol in 2007, a reality competition show, she placed third on the fifth season.

In 2012, Jepsen came out with the popular pop hit single “Call Me Maybe,” becoming the best selling song and the best selling domestic Canadian single in 2012. The hit single is still being played today, blowing up her singing career and being ranked at #47 on billboard’s greatest songs of all time. The song got over one billion views and 8.2 million likes on Youtube, maintaining #1 for nine consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100. Her viral song “Call Me Maybe” is a part of her second studio album, the Kiss album, released in 2012. Jepsen has released over five albums starting from 2008 and continues to produce music.
